New Teen Male Mesh

I made a new Teen Male mesh for TSR. It's a teen version of the Men's mesh I did. I like the way it turned out.

I've managed to do 2 new meshes. 1 for TSR and 1 for ts2creations.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have 4 days off-1 will be taken up with the holiday festivities. I plan on using 2 to make meshes for both TSR and ts2creations. I'm so excited, I have a whole line of meshes in mind.

Wonky Programs and Crashing Computers = wasted weekend!

Friday morning I woke up to a computer that wouldn't work. It looked suspiciously like a virus had eaten my hard drive. I turned the computer off (it wouldn't boot) and went to work. When I got home, I did a reinstall, being careful to leave the files INTACT so that I could salvage stuff--I was able to do virus scans and found nothing but a spyware program on my son's profile. Fine, I deleted, then did a deep scan--I was tired and it was taking a long time so I went to bed. I got up this morning to even worse problems. I got my computer up and running just enough to copy my saved custom content to a portable drive, but it was unstable so I had to format both drives and reinstall the OS. Three times I did this today. NOT FUN. And no matter how enticing IE7 is, don't do it unless you are sure you want it. I thought, sure go ahead and get the latest! That is what prompted install #3, I had to scrub that horrid program off this drive. Well, all clean, Sims reinstalled and now to put my precious Custom content back in. I actually think that one of the programs I downloaded (to take better screenies) the other night crashed my system. I'm not sure, though. No pics as everything is on the portable drive and I'm simply knackered. It's 320 am here. Off to bed and deal with the rest tomorrow.

Submitted latest set

Well, I couldn't get the bumps to work on my latest mesh. I really don't know what I did wrong. Also, I dumped the pregnant morph as it wasn't working that well. I uploaded it at MTS2 and Suzy should have it up at ts2creations as well. :)

Working on a new mesh set

I'm working on a new mesh set for adult females. It'll actually be accessable for all FA, YA, and Elder. I still need to fix it to be compatible with all expansions and figure out where I'm going to post it. I guess I should post it at TSR, but--and no offense to TSR--they've been really flooded with meshes because they are now hosting the creations of some other sites.

I'm really not very excited about posting my meshes at TSR right now. I create meshes with skinners in mind. I don't see a lot of other FA's recoloring my meshes--they use stuff from free sites. Maybe I shouldn't grouse here, but I'm tired and sick and have no where else to grouse.

Playing Pets!

Well, I took a break from creating today and played my game for the first time in a while. I love Pets! I know a lot of creators are uninstalling it until there's a fix, but I'm just using Dr. Pixel's fix Simpe fix until they come out with a patch.

I also want to add that it's raining like crazy in the Seattle area. Lots of flooding and stuff. Makes for a good excuse to sit inside and play sims 2!

New Tutorial

I have a tutorial for cloning parts and adding them to meshes as alpha groups at Linda's computer stop.

That one is about adding a new part as an alpha group to a mesh.

I'm fairly proud of both. :)

3 New Meshes for ts2creations!

I've made 3 new meshes for Suzy's Site! They are all inspired by the mesh I did for Halloween (Vampirella.)

I've made a few new meshes for TSR... also I made a fun mesh by request! It's al bit late for Halloween--I was so swamped and couldn't think of how to do it.
Anyway, I've sent it to NeptuneSuzy tonight and if she likes it, she'll put it up at TS2Creations when she has time. :)

I've made 3 new meshes--2 YA/Adult/Elder & 1 teen all are athletic wear!

Sorry for the lack of posts.

I've been busy in real life and haven't had the time to create and blog. I've barely created anything in the last couple of weeks. I'm writing that tutorial for Buntah's site. Look for it soon. Also, I've sent Suzy a new set for teens to go up at TS2creations.

New improved Daisy Room

I made it all lighter... I think it's an improvement.

Here is a new mesh I just completed. I'm making a set for TSR from it now. I've been wanting to do this style of dress for a while and we've been watching old movies and this idea just keeps haunting me. It's a fifties swing skirt with a sleeveless blouse with a collar. The collar SHOULD be higher, but I wanted it to be a bit more modern. Hope you like it!

The model walk flamingo is so fun to use. I love it!

Work-a-day stuff!

I've been busy at work and tired when I get home, so not as much time for creating as I'd like! It's a good thing I work, or I'd probably do sims stuff 100% of the time. Anyway, I did a plus-size swim skirt and a variation on my mesh at Suzy's--> the shee babydoll over slacks... then I did some recolors of the Messy pjs that are at TSR. I'm working on a teen mesh that I just can't get quite right. And I still owe Linda a tutorial on alpha parts. I'm getting requests at TSR for that too. I'm not good at writing tutorials, I think.

BIG UPDATE

The first set is at TSR. The second mesh and set are at ts2creations. And Buntah at Linda's Sims 2 has already recolored the second mesh!

Oregon was fabulous. I came back to a mess at work though so I've been tired when I get home. All my spare time has been spent relaxing doing some meshes or sleeping!!

Oregon Coast

I had a mesh almost ready to go, but it will have to hold until after the weekend. I'm heading to the Oregon Coast to visit my in-laws. Then I'll have a hectic day on Monday, but should be able to finish my project by Tuesday or Wednesday!

Here are my two favorites of this 4 dress set. I made 6 total, but the red turned out quite bad and the "blossom" one just didn't quite go with these fairly formal looking dresses. The dress has flaired sleeves and is a little longer and more fitted than the original. Also the skirt flairs more and there is more of a heel to the saddle shoe. I hope it pleases.

Back to TSR

I've decided to return to TSR as a Featured Artist. I'll still be creating for TS2creations and Buntah's site, though. I'm an attention whore, I think. lol I'm working on a new mesh tonight.

Playing all day...

I've been playing sims! This is a pic from the minimovie where Alexander gets dropped at Fiesta Tech. Bella saw him off. Strange! He doesn't even know her. Anyway, I'll be creating more during the week, if I can manage to climb out of the mound of paperwork I'm buried in at work.

   Here is a new mesh I did today. I got tired of my little girls being teens suddenly. We need some pre-teens in the game! The pink pants design is a Maxi original. I can't believe how much I'm doing.
